This pick up clips across the sound hole on acoustic guitars. The cable terminates in a standard jack enabling you to plug it into amps, pedals, mixing desks etc. More convenient and cheaper than buying an electro-acoustic.
If you play your guitar while sat down you will probably find that your right leg is too low. Many guitarists, particularly self taught ones, just "get used to it" and before they know it they are in a bad habit which can cause problems as you advance in your playing. Using a footstool means that your technique and posture will not suffer and you will be more comfortable while playing.

These are seriously underrated tools. I'll admit it won't make you play better, faster or louder and it doesn't make any cool noises BUT... every guitarist should have one!. They save loads of time and it's better to spend your time playing than changing strings or trying to remove brige pins with your teeth. If you play live gigs or are a roadie/guitar tech they are essential - don't keep your fans waiting when you snap a string.
Protect your guitar by securing the strap with a Jim Dunlop Lok Strap. They're small, cheap and easy to use, making them a must-have item for all guitar players. Sold in pairs.
